This net zero building was designed to consolidate departments from six different buildings. Our Change Management Strategy had to consider best methods for sharing the benefits of new workplace concepts and promoting overall building amenities in a way that feels like a win to the users. Greater productivity and interaction will be facilitated by a greater number of meeting spaces, collaborative spaces and flex space. Everyone will now have access to daylight. Place Partners supported staff in taking ownership and to feel expectant while preparing them for the unexpected. We have promoted the importance of their work with communicating change agenda and the value of their participation. Through a series of workshops, new guidelines were established to assist staff in best practices in use of the new building which resulted in a comprehensive Neighborhood Guide.
