Established in 1918, Save the Redwoods League played a vital role in the protection of the legendary California redwoods. The League has helped to give definition to the California state parks system, made a case for greater park funding, and provided expertise in land acquisitions and conservation as the system grew. This organization needed of a new space that would better support their work, staff and growing community. The building selected provides operable windows and radiant heat, great natural light and a large pantry/café to support worker health and comfort. The space was designed to convey the feel of being in the forest and to highlight the magic of it. Our team, that included ASD and GCI closely managed a lofty concept on a tight budget.
